Just because it is flat...
... doesn't mean racing gets any easier. 5th in B-grade, a couple o bike lengths behind the front four, out at the Penrith Regatta Centr after being flogged mercilessly. Spent a lot of energy taking turns, had a go in a break that laste half a lap and had nothing left for the final... oh well. A few week off the bike will do that to you, but I doubt it would have made muc difference. The A-grade crowd was motoring - a small group arrived with motorcycle escort with spare wheels and flashing lights. Now *that* i the way to arrive at a club race. Ritc -- ritcho |
