Default Reverse brake lever for v-brakes?

Anyone seen reverse levers that pull enough cable for direct-pull
linear brakes aka v-brakes.

They might look something like these :

The only reverse levers I know of can handle cantilevers and calipers
but not vees - am I out of luck?

Thanks.

Could you not combine those levers with a Travel Agent?

It's not clear what your intent is here. If you are trying to install
aerobar levers into a straight MTB bar you may be out of luck trying to
make them fit. It would also be a bit risky since the levers could snag
vines and branches.

I have sucessfully used a set of inline "cyclocross" levers (canti
specific cable pull) on an MTB with V-brakes. I have these levers
installed in the forward position of a Nashbar trekking bar. Regular
V-brake levers are installed in the rear position to anchor the cables
and provide proper braking when I need it. I am satisfied wih the
amount of braking provided by the cross levers on this bike. They are
noticeably weaker than the V-brake levers but they are still acceptable
for scubbing speed and slowing down for planned stops. I wouldn't want
to use them exclusively since the V-brake levers are still needed for
panic stops. This is is partially because I have my bike set up with
the pads a normal distance from the rim so that the V-brake levers
behave the way I want them to. I could improve the cross lever braking
if I ran the pads closer to the rim. I think I could reduce the gap on
each side by at least one millimeter without any rubbing.

If you have to live with less than ideal brake levers, can you improve
the brakes? Either using a v-brake model with paralelogram system, or
very good cantilevers, like the Avid shorty?

I already am using parallel-push XT brakes. I usually take them off for
winter but I just want to destroy those G.D. things now because I can't
get the fronts to stop squealing. I do have some kool-stop pads in
reserve but I will wait until the current pads are used up (which will
take a while since I don't put much mileage on this bike). I have
non-parallel-push brakes that are pleasantly quiet and, as a bonus, are
fully serviceable. I don't notice any benefit with the XT brakes over
the normal V-brakes anyway. I don't want to go to cantis and change the
V-brake levers since I have integrated rapidfires and I don't want to
bother with investing more money on the bike beyond routine maintenance.

Hey, these brakes levers are weightless - what more can you ask?
