Is Boonen showing these guys up by looking back like that?

Kind of like a baseball player who watches his home run from the batter's box. In baseball, they bean you next time up. Duped |

Duped If you read the race report, it seems he was actually leading out a teammate who, as it turned out, couldn't hold his wheel. He was probably looking back to see if he was there. Considering the graciousness and humility he typically exhibits when interviewed, I doubt seriously he was looking back to humiliate his competitors. Scott |

He'd already lost De Jongh by then and was just checking to see where Van Heeswijk was. He actually gave another little kick with a few metres to go to make sure he won. But I don't think the intention was to humiliate. Jeff |

I know it's a nice gesture but he's got the overall lead; and Sunday's TT is only 16 kilometres. He should do all right. Although Hincapie is only 17 seconds back, Hincapie might take the overall over Boonen but not by much. Andre |

I hope he doesn't hold back too much today. p.s. This year's Worlds doesn't really suit him does it? I mean the terrain. Andre |
