Default Kona Cindercone

I have a kona cindercone which i have stripped the paint, using a
chemical stripper. Is that going to cause problems to the frame? Also
in certain places it turn black, which im thinking that's oxidation.

What is the best polish and way of buffing the frame and also can I
put lacquer, so that the shine doesn't disappear.

Can I use Meguiars NXT All Metal Polish?
