Default Speedplay lube

I went to lube the speedplay with some Pedros waterproof lube but the phillips
screw at the end is stripped so that it won't release. Any solution?

Try using a #0 phillips or #1 Reed & Prince (simialr to a Phillips)
screwdriver. Take the pedal off the bike, stand the pedal on it's end so you
can exert plenty of pressure while s-l-o-w-l-y turning the screwdriver.

I think it is a poor design, they Loctite the scew in place. To release
the Loctite, SpeedPlay recomends heating the screw head with a soldering
iron. ummm. Mine are also stripped and I'm sending them into SpeedPlay,
not what you wanted to hear. Lucky my LBS has a loaner pair for me.

The screw that holds the 'puck' on? Not a phillips but a torx...6 sided thing,
either a t-15 or 20 size.
