Default HERE's how a bike accident story should be reported!

It's not a matter of giving tickets after a casualty, but of
sentencing whoever behaves not according to the rules that demand,
first of all, mutual respect on the road.
I have never seen any motorist punished for not yielding to a cyclinst
where he had to, nor where the circumstances would have suggested to
do so not to endanger his life.

Wow, I lived in Bethpage in the '70s and cycled though that
intersection often. A 91 year old friend of mine (and former cyclist)
lives literally a stone's throw from that spot.
