Default Random thoughts on Lance

Doping is like speeding, everyone does it, just don't get caught.

If everyone is doping then no one had an advantage due to doping.

Why cycling, other sports are far worse and more deserving of scrutiny
(football, is 6-6 320 with 4.4 speed so normal they can find a couple of
dozen of them), (running, is a 2 hour marathon possible without drugs),
(track and field, weight lifting). Hell even golf, tennis and for all I
know badminton, too.

Don't the feds have anything better to do.

60 minutes once again scales to the top of the Yellow Journalism mountain.
Full of insinuations, innuendo and careful editing to imply guilt. At least
one could infer that from the report.

Mike is the most thoughtful and reasoned person on rbr.

Lance was good for the sport.

If what 60 minutes said was true it gives one a certain insight into the TOC
results. 40 year old wins, Levi second (OK, not that unusual) but...George
and Andy dropped like stones on the final climb.

Lawyers aren't the only ones profiting from others misdeeds. Jailers,
judges, cops, drug therapists....

Spending all that time on a bike and you are not likely to present a very
polished image to world with the TV cameras on you.

Lance never failed a drug test, neither did Contador.

Tyler is selling a book. So was Walsh. Feds are looking for scalps. Trek
is selling bicycles. Versus is selling advertising. Phil and Paul get paid
to announce. Everyone took advantage of Lance for their own
(non-altruistic) reasons.

Athletes have cheated in every sport, from day 1.

Nothing is pure in this world, not cycling, not anything. Get over it.
