Hiker Dies after a 50-Foot Fall in Md.

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) - A Florida man was fatally injured when he fell 50
feet from a rocky ledge while hiking with friends in South Mountain State
Park, according Natural Resources Police.

Matthew J. All, 19, of Sarasota, Fla., fell while hiking at Annapolis Rock,
a side trail of the Appalachian Trail near Boonsboro, around 3:30 p.m.
Friday. He was airlifted to University of Maryland Medical Center's Shock
Trauma Center in Baltimore and died there early Saturday, police said.

A Pennsylvania man was injured in a fall at Rocks State Park around 2:30
p.m. Saturday. Christopher M. St. Clair, 24, of Delta, Pa., fell
approximately 30 feet at the King and Queen Seat area of the park near
Jarrettsville, police said. He was flown to Shock Trauma, but his condition
was not available Sunday evening.
