How big is it?

Does it rattle when you shake it?

No-one has ever proved that cycle helmets make cycling any safer at the
population level, and anyway cycling is about as safe per mile as walking.

It's from Mercian GI I met during the war. Full of nylons, chocolate
and lipstick.

By the way, that was a rhetorical question, and not an invitation to
debate (since I woiuld obviously lose, not being able to prove that it
*is* Christmas already).

Do let us know what is inside when you have opened it.

Nylons, chocolate and lipstick may not be of interest to all readers
of the group, but things for bikes would be of interest to everyone
but the trolls.

It's Gino's frame & forks. He has had a facelift. He is no longer celeste,
he is 'kingfisher flamboyant' with silver decals. The refurbish job finish
is good, but it's not perfect. From the price paid, I expected perfect.
There's the odd unevenness in the finish - luckily it's on bits you don't
normally go out of your way to look at. It is a gorgeous colour, but as and
when he requires doing again sometime in the future, I'm not sure I'll be
going back to Mercian.

Without knowing what kingfisher flamboyant is, that sounds like an
improvement :-) (/me looks at Mercian site. Yep, it is.)
