Had I started riding then as I do now, in my 60s, I might not have developed diabetes. IF you believe that, then you really are one stupid schmuck. Why? Regular exercise is one of the protective things that one can do to reduce the risk of developing many diseases, diabetes included. Quit cross posting. This is a .misc subject and riding a bike before you hit 60 and diabetes is one preventive measure. Never being a fat couch potato and car only driver is another. What goes around, stays around, and if you are 60 it will stay around, *FOREVER*. I went out today, no place to go, but went out for a ride, thinking a destination would hit me, but I wound up meandering for about 2 hours. Still way better than sitting on the couch wondering where to ride. Bill Baka (.misc) |
