xt calipers and xtr dual control levers
Hi,
does anyone know if it's possible to match XTR dual control levers with xt 4-pot 755 calipers? has anyone tried it? in my opinion it should give more power than xtr calipers, but i'm not sure if the levers can produce enough pressure (is the stroke identical - is the diameter of the piston in the lever identical)??? |

What are you talking about, measuring stroke and pistons and pressure??? It took me a whopping 45 seconds to google "Shimano", go to their website, and find the answer (twice - click the "technical" or "support" tab). "Yes, all Shimano hydraulic brake levers are designed to work with all Shimano hydraulic calipers. Keep in mind that there are different fittings for each. Make sure you use the appropriate Shimano brake line and fittings for the lever/caliper combination on your mountain bike." -Vee |
