Did you know that the USCF (Chess) Executive Board election also takes place in July? It'll be an eventful month for some of us. I'm already stocking up on Ritalin and Viagra so I can focus *and* maintain a hard-on the entire month. It's going to be epic! And what about all the dopers who were caught in possession, tested positive, went to Mexico, or (hist. ref.) the whole team got the flu suddenly and they had to drop out of the Tour, etc. etc? Are we scapegoating just a little bit here, Keith? --D-y |

Landis, (guys who got caught while winning or after winning the TdF), Valverde, Basso, Ullrich (all operation Puerto), DiLuca, Sinkewitz, Vinokourov, Tyler Hamilton (lost Olympic 2004 gold medal), Rebellin (lost 2008 Olympic silver medal), Stephan Schumacher (positive @ Olympics and 2 TdF stage wins for CERA), Leonardo Piepoli, Riccardo Ricco (booted out of TdF after 2 stage wins, EPO), the withdrawal of the entire Saunier Duval team in the 2008 TdF, the 1998 Festina team withdrawal from the TdF, the 2006? Astana team withdrawal from the TdF . . . then there's about 100 guys who were caught and whose names I can't recall at the moment. All the while, according to KEITH, it's all LANCE's fault. KEITH, you're a ****ing moron. thanks, Kurgan. presented by Gringioni. |

Watch out for those long stages, Keith. Due to the possibility of developing blood clots. So take a couple of aspirin to thin your blood and you should be ready to ride |

In order to follow Keith's reasoning (so to speak), you can't use any of those guys, since they were caught and punished. I figured out that what Keith can't handle is "no punishment" IRT Lance. Remember, in the War on People, the People must be punished, first and foremost, while the Leaders continue to lead as they will, above reproach. Saw LA, by the way, sitting at the front protecting L2 in the run-in to the sprint again today. I saw Brunyeel's "The intended acceleration was not possible" quote but maybe the real deal is, he rode the first part of that TT hard, had a good "test" and then backed off to get ready for the TdF. Or, maybe that suit he had on just didn't have enough dance floor for even the Uniballer-- did you see him picking his seat? Looked like it was time for a major Male Adjustment to me-- and he was distracted. --D-y |

Either way, he's a champion. -Paul |

If Lance was doping then he was better than everyone else who were also doping. If he wasn't doping he was better, without dope, than everyone else who were doping. Either way he was the best. |
