Ive got 40cms down or 35 rather after 3 months (1 month with a KH or
maybe month and a half now) and I had a crappy uni from ebay for the
first 2 months hencing me unable to do trials

Im going to take hobos advice and practice some squats on my uni see if
that helps and also the failing bit is irritating cause it stuffs me up

L8er guys.

if your not making any progess leave it for a while and get your geral
trials better - gaps, roll hops, lines etc... that way your trials
abilities and physical condition will improve alittle. I was stuck at
35cm for a while, did practice high jump for a while but got better at
trials then came back and did 52cm.

I have not read all the posts so sorry if this is a repeat...

How about just frogetting about hop hight for now. Work on other areas
for a while. Work on gapping, rail riding or ride some street, Muni or
freestyle. If you have any natural trials, ride that. Natural trials
can be small but still very challenging, even when it doesnt require
high sidehops. After having a break, come back to it and see what you
can do. Practicing different skils should help to build up a better
ballance, a better feel and better controll.

Focus on the object, I almost stare at the spot I want to land on,
right up untill I land there. Experiment with different prehops and
find what works. Try from far and close and try high slow prehops and
low fast ones. Tucking should come naturaly, If you are looking where
you want to land, I think your body naturaly tucks to make that hight.

Hope that helps.

EDIT: I just read thejdw's post, looks like I just wrote basicly the
same thing, nevermind.
