Default Cyclist attacked by four men.

Safety in numbers as usual.
QUOTE:

"Police in York are appealing for witnesses and information after a
man was robbed and pushed into a river from a bridge.

The 18-year-old victim was cycling along Clifton Bridge in the
direction of Acomb, at about 1.05am on Saturday 23 July 2011, when
four unknown men stopped him in the road.

They forcibly took him to the bridge railings and searched his
pockets, removing his wallet, mobile phone and passport. They then
pushed the victim back against the railings and he fell about 8 metres
into the River Ouse below.

The man initially went under the water but was able to swim to safety
without any apparent injury. He found his stolen possessions on the
pavement over the bridge. A small amount of cash had been taken from
the wallet."

True, Simon does like to make out that these 10-stone weaklings in tights
are somehow so terrifying that it takes at least 3 grown men to "do" them.

I think the recent famous video where a lone car driver slaps one cyclist
while 5 other cyclists play statues, puts paid to that theory.

They did not need to enter an affray, they had the video evidence,
which together with social media, has brought the attacker to justice.
We will wait to see what sentence is handed out to him.

Pockets? What pockets? Cyclists don't need them - they never put their
hands in them. Sponging freeloaders.

They obviously spotted a natural victim. 8 stone social inadequate
dressed like an extra in a gay rave movie.

If I was that cyclist and 5 of my mates just stood and watched, they
wouldn't be my friends any longer.

They could have restrained him while waiting for the Police to arrive but
bottled it. Either that or they knew he deserved it, no doubt the memory
stick containing the *entire* incident in question has been "formatted and
re-used".
