BIGGER BIKE FOR BIGGER DROPS

I just want to clarify some things first; I have the money, and it
isn't even an issue... I'm paying for the bike, and I'm going to be the
only one riding it. Now that that's donee, I'd like to get a
recommendation on somebikes that, from personal experience, you would
recommend. I need to get a freeride bike for the **** I do, I go
through these low-quality bikes like TP. I want to start getting into
even bigger drops and gaps, I'm just afraid that if I do it on one of
the bikes that I've been using, the frame will snap out from underneath
me. The biggest drop that I can do at this point is around 12ft. and
the biggest gap is no wider than 16ft. I have had my eye on the GT iT1
for a while and the few people that own them say that they are
incredible. By giving me some pros and cons of the bike ofmind, it
might just provide me with peace of mind...

Sure you don't mean 12" and 16"? Heck, that's scary enough...

I feel if your doing drops like you say, you probably already know what
works and what won't.
My feeling is any bike doing 12ft has a probability of breaking. That's the
fun of this sport, riding just on the edge of whatever the rider feels is
challenging and somewhat dangerous.

Any bike will be fine for that sort of hardcore action as longs as you
drink enough Dew.
