Default CTC / Cycle Campaign Network Autumn Conference

Apologies for cross-posting.

Cycle campaigners from around the country will be converging on South
Yorkshire
for the Cyclists Touring Club/Cycle Campaign Network Autumn conference,
to be hosted at the Earth Centre on the 18th October 2003.

A thought-provoking array of presentations has been scheduled from both
national and local speakers, and themes include Cycling and Health, Bikes
with Public Transport, and the making of the Sheffield Cycle Map.

Access to the main Earth Centre site is included, and a full range of
acivities
has been planned for the weekend around the conference. The Earth Centre
is a key location on the Trans-Pennine Trail, the major leisure cycling
route linking Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Doncaster, York, Leeds Hull
and many places in between, and is adjacent to Conisbrough station on the
Sheffield - Doncaster line.

Pedal Pushers secretary Simon Geller said " The Earth Centre is a model
for the principles of sustainability that we stand for, and will provide
an excellent venue for our conference."

Registration forms are now available to download at the conference website,
http://www.pedalpushers.org.uk/cec03/

Notes to editors:

Sheffield.

The Cycle Campaign Network is the UK national federation of cycle campaign
