Longer bike stem
I like riding in as upright position as possible.
My current stem is already maxxed out on the height. My bike is a Huffy mountain bike. Are the stems standard width or do I need to measure the diameter? Andy |

If you do not have a vernier caliper, wrap a paper around it to measure circumference then divide by pi. -- Andrew Muzi www.yellowjersey.org/ Open every day since 1 April, 1971 |

I realized that I may need to replace some or both brake and shift cables because I think I could only go about 2 inches higher with the new stem. Andy |

Lemon? Apple? (O.K. sorry about that, but the temptation was overwhelming :-)\ -- cheers, John B. |
