This site was established to provide information about a Class Action
Settlement in Lawrence A. Rosen, individually and on behalf of all
others similarly situated v. Ingersoll-Rand Co., et al., No. 04 CH
15345 (Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois County Department,
Chancery Division) involving a class of United States and Canadian
owners of Kryptonite U-Locks with cylindrical locking mechanisms. The
information on this web site will be updated periodically.

UPDATE: On June 16, 2005, the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois
County Department, Chancery Division, entered an Opinion and Order
finding the Settlement Agreement to be “fair and reasonable” and
overruling all objections to the Settlement. A copy of the Opinion and
Order is available here. A copy of Kryptonite’s press release
regarding the Opinion and Order is available here .

The Opinion and Order approving the Settlement is not yet final, and
there remains a possibility that one or more class members will appeal
the Opinion and Order once it becomes final. In any event, Kryptonite
will begin processing and fulfilling registered claims shortly.
