Hardly reached "Critical Mass". You can read about it here :
http://cyclingedinburgh.info/

Judging by the report, it just looks like a few idiots set out to be as
deliberately antagonistic to everyone else as they could.

What's sad about that is that when we did bike-ins in Edinburgh in the
seventies - pretty much equivalent to modern 'critical masses' - we got
hundreds of people out on bikes.

Default Critical Mass

I went on the "Critical Mass" in Bristol a coupla weeks ago.

What I'd like to add, is,

Come oooonnn!!

It's a bit of fun!! We just went out on the roads about 20 of us, enjoying
our privelige of using the roads, in gracious good humour with all the
drivers, giving it a bit of pedal power. Enjoying each other's company, a
little bit of political discussion, whislt getting from A to B, and back to
A again...

If there's a "C.M." in Edinburgh at the end of this month, I say, get out
there and join 'em - it was the nicest ride around the city of Bristol I've
ever had.

OK, I am slightly tipsy right now - please excuse. I'm a long-time lurker,
rare poster... I just felt like voicing an opinion for the rational. If you
catch any of the undercurrent antagonistic vibe in the C.M. - just ignore
it, tell them what you think, it's anarchy in action, "coordinated chaos",
whatever, just enjoy it if you will.

Marc.
