Default Police hunt cyclist that punched a woman sitting in her own car

WTF is the matter with cyclists?

A cyclist is being hunted by police after he punched a 52-year-old woman
through the window of her car in a frightening road rage attack.

The woman was driving in Salisbury and stopped at the junction of
Winchester Street and Guilder Lane in the city when she was assaulted by
a cyclist. He punched her through the window twice, once to the chin and
another time to her upper arm.

"When she threatened to call the police, the suspect made off on foot
down Winchester Street and under the A36 bypass leaving his bicycle at
the scene," said a spokesman for Wiltshire police.

"The offender is described as a white man, aged mid to late 20s, slim
build, short dark hair and with stubble. He was wearing a hi-vis yellow
jacket, possibly with Wiltshire Council on the back, and a dark beanie hat.

At a guess, he made off on foot because his bicycle was crushed beneath the
psychopath's wheels.

Serious question:

What happened to the bike?

It sounds like the key to the whole incident.

It would not really matter even if she had driven over it deliberately a
few times. As the bike will be unidentifiable it will not help in any case.

"A cyclist is being hunted by police"

I wonder why the police are hunting an attempted murder victim?

No psychopath mentioned in the report. I think you are confusing
'psychopath' with 'cycle path'.

Yes, but the chances are that its owner will (eventually) cautiously
seek its return from the police's lost property office.

It is quite likely that the bike was not the offender's property .

Why else would he leave it? Oh of course, cyclists are so rich they can
leave their steeds anywhere without a second thought, sorry about the
suggestion.
