Looks like alot of fun!

Whats the vibe like at these races?? Do you need alot of training
before entering or is just a bit of fun???

Would love to know more snozza!!

Disclaimer!: I run these things, so forgive me if i sound a bit biased..
however I'm sure that others on this group will support me!

The vibe is very relaxed and friendly. To what degree you let your
competitive streak take over is up to you. All are there for a good
time.

And you so don't need any training before you enter.

Just try to come down well before the 6:30pm start time, so you can
check out the course and make sure you have decent lights; min 10W
White front and one red rear (flashing).

Cheers,
Snozza

I reckon the Dirt-Crits are great. Good fun atmosphere and grades range
from easy to very competitive.
I had a goal this year to get into MTB racing and I would've been happy just
to attend maybe half a dozen races but the dirt crits give you a chance to
focus on what you're doing as they happen every week.
For me it's a good way to guage my progress but for a lot of people it's
just something fun to do on thursday night.
I never expected after coming less than half way down B-grade 8 weeks ago
that I'd be riding in A-grade so soon.
