Default Di2 multishift issues - Setup 6770 with external battery and old Junct-A

I had issues with setting up a friends bike to do multishift and change the speed of shifting using the PCE-1 hardware.

I was able to upload all the new firmware to date (08-22-16). Had some issues programming the rear deraillur till i did a master reset using Junction Box A

But
I was unable to setup the bike with multishift and or changing the shift speed.
When i try to upload the new setting its say incomplete and check battery if its disconnected - If its connected hit next - Battery was connected and was functioning before and after the PCE1 link. Battery was new and fully charge as well.

Anyone had this issue ? (yes older 10 speed - 6770)
Anyone resolved this issue ?

Thanks for any advice

Shimano tech did not have any solutions as well - called their tech support

Same setup (my bike also 6770)
Have no issues - (only difference is his external battery mount has hard wire to the mount and mine has a wire that can be disconnected (to the mount)

Thanks in advance.....
