Default Munich Six Day - Final Night 6

Scott McGrory-Matthew Gilmore continued their blitzkreig and beat the
Slippens-Stam pair by eleven points as the other pairs lost three or more laps
in the blistering final night action.

Up until the end of night four Slippens-Stam had looked like sure fire winners
and their loss on the final night must have been a bitter pill to swallow for
the 2003 victors. But the McGrory-Gilmore win was justice in a way as they won
the 2002 event and were denied back to back wins last year by the
Risi-Betschart duo who were relegated to fourth spot, and Matthew Gilmore now
has one more win than his dad who won with Sigi Renz in 1976.

There is now a one week respite before battle is joined again a week from
tonight in Ghent on November 23 and it is a certainty that Slippens-Stam will
be out for revenge.
