Default Dura Ace w/ large pedal spindles is called ?

What was the "name" for the Dura Ace cranks and pedals with the large
diameter thread spindles? They must have had some catchy phrase to
describe these things... or cyclists made one up...

As has already been noted that was part of the Dura Ace AX group and
was called "Dyna Drive." The reason for the large thread size was that
there was no actual spindle as found in almost all athers pedals.
Instead the pedal platform was entirely supported by bearings contained
within the large threaded crank/pedal interface. This allowed the
platform of the pedal to actually be BELOW the axis of rotation.

Something like this

I still have a set of the AX cranks that is used regularly, fitted with
adapters to accept normally threaded pedals.
