the blown tube box holds 25 tubes-
the majority (vast) are done in by tube wear not tube punctures-both
seam and longitudinal stress wear and internally produced blowouts from
slime liner overlap-cure there is rotation also positive for tire life.

the other porblem is patch leak-air creep out from under the patch-and
i am not a slob installer.

so frankly, i threshold and am at the poiut oif uttering the immortal
words-

and am going to try super glue as a long trial

the reason ? walmart's glue rack is serving up a four tube card of
super glue for a buck
evil demons.
this may be a local phenom but trundle over and looksee

Hmmm, this shouldn't be a problem the patch is applied correctly.

But super glue dries to an epoxy-like hardness. Wouldn't inflating the
tube lead to a deformity or preclude an air-tight seal as the
pressurized tube pulls away from the inelastic patched area?

i patched with super glue once -twice? no problems 'cept for the
expense-opening the glue bottle is like tapered crank creep here in hot
swfla
therefore the post advising of the 4 per card wal offer
tube rubber apparently stretchs away without pressure lose thru
porosity then fracture
question was or is-is the patch compatible with isocyanurinate as it is
on bell contact cement?
seems ok so far
i asked myself-am i applying the contact cement as directed? too thick
maybe? but results are some patchs live some don't
and off course there's always-well, now it's too thin and at that point

the idea is REDUCE DOWNTIME. a good reason for running quality tubes at
$9 per unless the vandalism qou is wayhi

right-the ridge.
every notice how punctures occur adjacent tube ridge's
ridge puncture proximity and probability of occurence thereon is off
course directly proportional to severe weather condition, presence of
rabid squirrels, ditto mexicans...
yeah, i scrap the ridges off with a razor blade held vertical to the
ridge top lika cabinet scraper, then sand, rubbing CHO, dry, let pathch
carfefuly cure in dry hot sun...
and then the ridge seams to bear no topographic relation to the leaking
out from under.
so what's coming out , i guess, is a bending deformatea of the glue
strata produced by tube bending as tire flattens absorbing shock.
the isocyanurinate strata is theowreckticallee impervious to these
machinations having solidly and eternally bonded the two rubber strata.
will report back thru enemy lines
