Is a $500 tarmac stolen?

Not that I want one, just wondering http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/bik/5902788305.html Petaluma is a place where there is a lot of money. You often see bikes in Petaluma or Santa Rosa going for one half the price and only a year old. This one appears to be several years old and with cheaper components. Still a good ride if you remember that he said it was crashed. |

Is a $500 tarmac stolen?

Not that I want one, just wondering http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/bik/5902788305.html My last bike was a Tarmac Elite. 53/39 though where this one is a compact. Good bike with a wheel upgrade. The stock wheels weren't great. I'd say that's a good price for a full carbon bike with 105. Not sure what year this one is but I picked mine up on sale for 1800 Canadian so 500 US used isn't cheap enough to have to be stolen. There would be no frame warranty though as it's not transferable. -- duane |
