Hotels for riders in DC?
I'm going to be riding into Washington, DC via the C&O Canal trail, then
catching Amtrak back home. The train leaves at 4:30 PM from Union Station. I'd like to catch a hotel and shower to clean-up before the train, without spending big bucks. I can't find a hotel anywhere near DC for less than $100 a night. It could be 20 miles from Union Station, anywhere near the 495 loop would be fine. There's a Hostelling International right downtown. Has anyone had experience here? Or do you have any hotel recommendations? I just can't picture myself taking my bicycle up the elevator in the Watergate Hotel. Thanks for your help. |
