Default The King is dead - long live the King!

Fresh from Cotterell House:

The Government has agreed to set up Cycling England to replace the
NCSB (but with only a fraction of the cash it asked for). Phillip
Darnton will chair it, and other members will include Kevin Mayne,
John Grimshaw, Peter King, Lynn Sloman, Alison Hill, Christian Wolmar
and two others to be appointed.

Also, they are launching the National Training Standard for adults and
children, and CTC will be funded to set up the help-desk to put
clients who want cycle training (whether individuals, companies,
local authorities) in touch with accredited cycle trainers.

For the DfT press release, see

Well at least Shona (Ms Guided Bus) Johnstone has gone. Grimshaw
has got a clue, even if he can't raise the money to make all
10,000 miles of NCN usable without an MTB.
