Default Cyclist crash

A Townsville triathlete is in critical condition after hitting a scooter
on his ride down Castle Hill last Thursday.

Hmm... sounds like the cyclist was on the wrong side of the road, or
so close to it they can't work out who did what.

Or nothing broke off either vehicle, so they can't do regular checks
"they collided here", etc.

Yeah. With moped and bicycle, unlikely to be skid marks or much
collision mark, and maybe bit broke but are scattered.

If the moped went down there will be marks though.

I expect that seeing as the moped rider was over the limit, the
presumption is it was their fault.

Trouble is... might not be true. Good people do the wrong thing
sometimes and bad people do the right thing sometimes... Although
unlicenced and non-sober motorcycle riders are a major factor in the
motorcycle crash rate.

Where does it say that?

In one of the following reports.
