He's getting over an illness. He got dropped out the back when the peloton
picked up the speed at the run-in to the finish.

I was sure it was the usual attempt to put himself out of contention so
he could take a flyer in the mountains, but given that Danilo didn't
start today, I think the official explanation of "prostate infection"
holds, er, water.

I mean, who would make that up?
