ex England footballer & leukaemia survivor Geoff Thomas to ride TdF'05 Route
Heard on Radio 5 this morning that former England footballer, Geoff Thomas,
who is in remission having been diagnosed with leukaemia in July 2003, is to do a "French Revolutions" ride to raise money for leukaemia research. That is, he will ride the entire route of this year's Tour de France, riding each stage a few days before the pros do. Apparently, Magnus Backstedt prepared a training schedule for him to follow in preparation. That probably explains the Bianchi kit ;-) You can read more and sponsor him at www.geoff-thomas.com -- Cheers, Bronzie ================================================== ======= "You're gonna remove my brain?!?!
