Default ex England footballer & leukaemia survivor Geoff Thomas to ride TdF'05 Route

Heard on Radio 5 this morning that former England footballer, Geoff Thomas,
who is in remission having been diagnosed with leukaemia in July 2003, is to
do a "French Revolutions" ride to raise money for leukaemia research. That
is, he will ride the entire route of this year's Tour de France, riding each
stage a few days before the pros do.

Apparently, Magnus Backstedt prepared a training schedule for him to follow
in preparation. That probably explains the Bianchi kit ;-)

Being my default radio station, I listened to that interview on 5 Live
this morning, enjoyed it too.
