Default Rubbish overshoes

Anyone recommend a decent pair of lightweight summer overshoes? I have
gone through 3 sets of Castellis and now a pair of Sidi shoe covers.
In all of them the zip broke long before the bottoms wore through, so
a robust zip is a must.

Ta muchly.

What is an overshoe? Is this something you wear outside a shoe? Sorry for
my ignorance but I just wear a pair of trainers on the bike.

It is a cover that goes over cycling shoes which helps keep your shoes clean
and helps keep your feet warm and dry in the rain. Summer ones are usually
lightweight plastic, but winter ones are made of heavy neoprene and are
great for keeping the cold and rain out.

Is that what people use when they don't have a pair of Northwave Celsius?

Incidentally, I hear that Northwave have a new high performance winter
road boot out which is said to be designed for long rides at sub-zero
temperatures. Got your name on it :-)
