Radey, that is the sort of thinking that allows the corruption of science. When you read an article that says, "scientists predict arctic ice pack to disappear by 2050", where is the science? The facts? The evidence?

Sounds to me you're reading headlines on websites, not scientific
articles. Believe it or not, there is a difference.

When you see a headline, "2014 hottest year on record" what do you think is behind that?

A headline writer.

The record they are talking about is the SATELLITE record only available since the 1980's.

Read the scientific articles. There's much you miss. There's much you
oversimplify.

Science has allowed itself to become a political ploy. Not one of these predictions has proven true...

No, we've been through that. You danced around the easiest, the
glaciers, giving false information about that. You should be aware that
major corporations and nations' militaries are already investing heavily
to take advantage of reducing arctic ice. Repeating "not one of these
predictions has proven true" doesn't work.

weather is a chaotic event and is not predictable save days and not
even weeks in advance.

Also wrong. Effects of global phenomena like El Nino and La Nina are
successfully predicted year after year. They may not be able to tell
you which jersey to wear on May 13, but they generally predict the
trends with success.

One of the strongest el ninos on record was the 1982/3. The 1982-83 El NiƱo, by many measures the strongest thus far this century, was not predicted and not even recognized by scientists during its early stages.

Why don't you try a little harder to invent an alternate reality?

Again, you have some tendency to give links to articles that argue
against your points. That one says that yes, there certainly have been
climate changes in the past; but that the current rate of change is
something like ten times normal. That seems notable to me.

Tell you what Frank. With your vast understanding of global warming I would like you to provide us with information showing that there is ANY significant difference in the heat retaining properties of CO2 vs. Oxygen.

With your knowledge of the world around you that shouldn't take more than a second or two.

After all, you have this tremendous knowledge of how "proxy-based reconstruction temperatures are so accurate compared to instrumented temperatures. Oh, wait, you don't even know what I'm talking about.

Nevertheless Frank seems really good at misunderstanding information without being able to provide any references of his own.
