mini-v and top mount cross levers
I've got a pair of mini-V brakes on my cross bike (it came with
them). I'm using barcons and DiaCompe 287 levers. I was wondering if anyone has had any success with any top-mount cross levers out there with a similar setup. The only ones I see that claim to be v-brake compatable are Pauls, but I don't think my mini-vs pull nearly the same amount of cable. So it seems to me they'd work okay. Anyone have any luck? While were at it, any recommendations for brand? Thanks, Erik |

If you're using 287s with yours, any regular lever should work. The Tektro cross levers are the best I've seen, (way nicer thatn Pauls's) also available under a few other names.
