In Motion Lighthouse Tour
Have any of you taken the Lighthouse Tour offered by In Motion? It
leaves via ferry from Portland Maine and then takes about 7 days around Nova Scotia. My wife and I are considering taking the tour in 2007. The other posts I've found date from when the Can Am wheelers ran the event. I wondered if it was still run under what appears to be a change in management? I am very interested to hear about your impressions and experiences about this ride. Thanks in advance for your reply, Matt |

Is this the ride you are asking about?: http://www.canamwheelers.com/lighthouse/index.html In Aug 2006, I met the group twice- I was doing the same route in reverse. I just saw them coming out of Yarmouth, as I was coming in. Several days later I was camping at the same campground near Middleton and talked to several of them. It was a very impressive group. They had a "tent city" with numbered "streets", even a trailer with their own showers. By 8 AM all their tents were packed and they were ready to roll. It also solved the mystery of the "Dan Henrys" I've seen around Nova Scotia in the last few years. They had painted new ones in the spring of 2006. -- David Dermott , Wolfville Ridge, Nova Scotia, Canada email: Nova Scotia cycling: http://www.dermott.ca/nstour/intro.html |

In Motion Lighthouse Tour
That's the one. Thanks for the post. Sounds like fun, either with the
tour on on your own. Did you get a set of route maps somewhere or make up you own? Thanks! David Dermott wrote: On 7 Jan 2007 wrote: Have any of you taken the Lighthouse Tour offered by In Motion?
