Default Niterider Flamethrower HID/LED light operation question

Hi there,

If anyone has used there or is knowledgeable, I have a few questions as I
picked up a set on clearance brand new with no manual.

The set claims to have 3 intensity settings for the HID head which I cannot
figure out how to use

As well, there is supposed to be an LED backup that will run for up to 80hrs
as well as an 'SOS' mode. When I look into the light head, I don't see any
LEDs lined up. Am I supposed to **see** the unlit LEDs in the head or are
they hidden? It seems like I may have been sent the wrong head but I wanted
to be sure first. All in all the HID head itself is VERY bright but I
wanted to make sure I was getting the most out of it. Yes, I have emailed
NR and contacted the seller but I wanted to see if someone had a quick
answer first.

Thanks,
Andrew.
