Default fitting 26" wheels to 650c forks ?

Hi Folks,

I've got an option on a cheap 650c carbon road fork. I want to use it on my
MTB/Road bike but with the standard 26" MTB wheels. Can I get a brake
caliper that will fit the 650c fork and reach the 26" rims ok? I was told
there are 47mm and 57mm drop road calipers, would a 57mm do the job?

TIA
Carlos
