Default Identity of H&R Victim

It's already scrolled off my server, but you may remember that I
posted about a guy who deliberately drove across a highway and hit a
cyclist coming the other way. The perp was caught after some nifty
detective work.
And now the identity of the victim has finally been released. He is
Herman Franks, Jr., son of the former San Francisto Giants and Chicago
Cubs manager. Because of his injuries, Herman Jr. was unable to be
present for the last days of his father, who died of natural causes
shortly after the H&R.
Victims always have families, of course. But this time they were
someone a lot of us knew about.
