Kona Coiler 04 head tube broken

Hi guys

I have this problem.a crack of 10 mm on the back of the head tube where this
is inserted the lower cup of the head set.

My official dealer said that the crack it's due to a problem of the tube not
for my ride.
I'am out of warranty from oct 05 but Kona said that it's a cleared problem
due to my ride and don't change free of charge the frame.
This is someone that have the same problem and the reason of the crack?

Italy Well seems to me your betweeen a rock and a hard place and need a new frame out of pocket.

The reason is that kona is garbage. The solution is to buy a better
frame, preferably one that has a real warranty.

Ok, so you are out of warranty. Have you checked to see if they have a
crash replacement policy? Some manufacturers will offer a new frame at
their manufacturing or dealer cost after the warranty expires.
