Default RR Whew Fork is setup right finally

Well I got out on my Bullit with the 02 Jr T's setup right for about 15
minutes tonight! I had to head back because of a massive rain out of
nowhere.

The point of posting this short ride report was the amazing experience of
getting rained on so hard on a bike in the middle of a downtown city around
dinner time. Well I guess I should say American city. I got my new springs
from Marzocchi today. The firmest they make for my Jr .

Got a 5' drop to flat in and these springs are it! I weigh 210 with riding
gear but tonight I was about 195 with no gear. That drop took up 6.5" of
travel. I will add a cap ful of oil to each leg tonight. That should be
perfect.

The sag was the same.

The massive bobbing was gone.

The brake dive is gone.

I was loving it and hammering out to the city's park that has some cool
trails the rain came. It came fast and hard so I hid out in a bus station.
Noticed across the street there were some nice ladies in a restaurant
checking me out. I headed across the street and got under the awning. I
was about 3" from the glass on my bike. They were about 12" from the
window. Rain coming down. I looked around and out of nowhere came Mark
Lanegan. My favorite artist/singer out of Seattle.

He was walking in the downpour not seeming to care. We talked and he asked
me to have a drink with him. I locked the bike and we walked to the bar
right around the corner.

Man 30 minutes later I was lit after the whiskey and beer.

Rode home after that... no biggie it was less than a half a mile and I rode
walking speed.

I can't believe that I got the forks setup this good (we'll see this weekend
at the DH course) and I can't believe I met one of the greatest artists
still alive right now.

Oh Brian at Marzocchi hooked me up!

The sag was the same.

The massive bobbing was gone.

The brake dive is gone.

The Whiskey was for the holy ghost (Mark Lanegan)

That's interesting. I just shipped him a Gun Club album. Doesn't sound
like he's going to be home to receive it cuz I don't think you're in LA
(he seems to have relocated to smogville.
