PHONY TO THE CO The "Ole Family Ranch" in Crawford is a Set Completed the
Same Day the Election was Stolen
By Cheryl Seal

With a title like that, you can be sure of the absolute partiality and
veracity of the author, huh? ;-)

Have you seen all those article and pictures of Bush "at home on the ranch"
in Crawford - the ones that imply that he is "just an ole ranch hand" more
comfortable on the family homestead than in the "Big City," be it Austin or
D.C.? Well, if you bought this image, you've been royally snuckered. The
Bush family homestead in Crawford is nothing more than an elaborate set. The
house, built in 2000, was designed to be ready for Bush to step into - like
a set awaiting an actor - during the 2000 presidential election. Not only
was the "ranch" created in 2000 - so, essentially, was the "town" of
Crawford! Before then only about 400 people lived in the area. The Crawford
Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture were formed shortly after the ranch was
finished.

snipped rest of whiny article

So what? I don't know if any of this is even true, but I don't recall
anyone trying to claim Bush was a "rancher" before becoming president.
Maybe I missed that in his resume? And it does seem fairly
appropriate that the best place to set up a homestead once you DO
become president is someplace remote - not in a "quiet working class
neighborhood".

And she even misspelled "snookered". Harumph.

The Bush family fortune was started by George W. Bush's great-grandfathers,
George Herbert Walker and Samuel Bush, both of whom were financiers, and
both of who profited vastly from rearmament after WWI.

Do a search on Google -- you'll find plenty of links to articles about the
Bush "fortune," Prescott Bush's links to the Nazi' and his war
profiteering, and the Bush family' links with the so-called
"military-industrial" complex, not to mention Bin Laden.

This post explains this picture I found of you on

I don't doubt GB Sr's ancestors had bucks. But after a stint in the
Navy he took a job as a clerk in an oil company. I know you don't
believe me, but do a bit more research and find a photo of the Bush
family home. Then tell me that's the kind of house that those born
with "silver spoons" grow up in.

snip rant

**** Bush, and **** Shrub too!

Glad to see that you can keep it rational.

And what a creative resume it must be. The guy just loves playing
dress-up: a fake cowboy on his fake ranch, and a fake soldier/pilot
in front of the fake "Mission Accomplished" banner on the aircraft
carrier. What a phony; what an utter crock.

privilege and advantage having been given to him on a silver
platter, still has proven unable to run a single business
profitably, and is now on the imaginable. testament to the fact
that we should have huge inheritance taxes! Without his family
foirtune, Shrub would still be a minimum-wage sales clerk in the
sporting goods department at Sears Roebuck (no offense intended to
Sears employees). He belongs there. This "President" simply proves
the adage that "voting Republican is easier than thinking!"

Dear Doug,

After "Bin Laden," you seem to have lost coherence and dropped a few
sentences or paragraphs. Could you run it through the keyboard again?

Your mixing me up with the other Doug. I guess that shows that George

Read the threads carefully before posting and making a fool out of
