Show up on the sti's doorstep with pamphlets and bucketloads of

Well... almost. The rear shifter will work, but the front shifter
pulls more cable than the original "road" front derailleur can take.
To work, the front derailleur needs to swapped to a Shimano FD-R453 or
Interloc Alpina (for flat bar shifters) to make it work perfectly.

I have a road bike with Shimano LX shifters, XT rear derailleur, and
FD-R443 front derailleur to fit larger chainrings (I've used 48 and 52-
tooth rings). It works perfectly.
