Default FA: Surly Long Haul Trucker frame only

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=150067096419

54cm Surly Long Haul Trucker 26" wheel heavy-duty touring bike frame.
This is the largest of the 26" LHT frames and would suit a rider a few
inches either side of 5'10. All the technical information and the
clever marketing guff can be found at
http://www.surlybikes.com/longhaul.html. This frame would make an
excellent commuter or tourer for on-road or off.

This frame is 2 years old and has done approximately 6,000km on roads
and cycle paths. It has never been crashed. I am selling it reluctantly
because I have decided a Surly Cross Check is more suited to my needs,
because I want the money to buy a mountain bike and because my wife
says I can only have four bikes at once.

The frame comes with a Cane Creek headset, but does not include the
headstem. The photos showing the bike built up are for illustration
purposed only.

The Long Haul Trucker is the best purpose built touring bike frame on
the market. It has braze-ons for panniers, three waterbottles,
cantilever or V-brakes, it even has braze-ons to hold your spare
spokes. It's not the lightest frame in the world - but it may well be
the toughest.

The frame is in good condition, however the paintwork is scratched. My
advice would be to repaint the frame anyway, I'm not a huge fan of the
green.

It's a rare bike which comes with it's own fan club. Let this frame be
your blank canvas and check out http://surlyville.net/ for inspiration
from other owners.

Default Surly Long Haul Trucker frame only

Niceness, even though it's not my size and I'm not in the market. With more
people commuting all the time it wouldn't surprise me to see touring
geometry make a serious comeback.
