Venice Muni

Hey, ya all,

If you're ever in the Venice Beach (So Cal) area, park by the beach,
head down to the bikepath (200 yards from the water) and have at it.
There are a gazillion trials opportunities to fiddle on and almost
endless Muni practice grounds, including the steep "Mt. Venice," with
big tiered drops on a grassy slope, the "launchpad" (and fifty like it),
5-foot high cement widget where you can practice ludicrous long jumps
into the sand (for pictures) or onto the cement (better, but sometimes
impossible if the BMXers are hogging the area), dozens of giant stair
gapping opportunities, and miles of rounded "logs" to practice rolling
over or "skinnying." It's the next best thing to a Santa Barbara single
track. Here are a few pics.

Wow, some more nice professional photos. They look great! What's going
on in the last one, down the stairs? Where did you launch from? Looks
good, regardless.
