We had the honor of speaking with Chris Carlsson one of the giants of
San Francisco cycling. A respected author, historian, producer and
thinker, Chris played a big part in bringing the Critical Mass
phenomena to the world. One of his books, "Critical Mass: Bicycling's
Defiant Celebration" is highly regarded by all those involved in social
