Campy 8-speed cassette compatibility?

To the list:

I bought a set of campy wheels a few years ago, they have record hubs
with an 8-speed cassette hub, but no cassette. I never mounted them
up, but was thinking about it now I'm living in an area with good
roads.

Campy has pretty much moved on to 9 and 10 speed clusters. Will any of
these mount on the 8-speed unit? Is there anything else but 8 speed
campy that I can use?

You can get (I don't know where, for you) a Miche cassette that fits the CA
8 speed hub, replace the spacers with 9 speed ones, add a speed at the top
end, and run just fine. In France, this would cost you 24+3+3 (30) euros.
Miche is very good as supporting older CA stuff. If you wanted to move to
10 speed, roughly the same, using 10 speed spacers, and adding the cogs
where you want them. You also have choices of beginning gears from 11 to
16, so the choice of cassette ratios is pretty good. Price is then 24+3,5+6
euros.

No but Campagnolo still makes 8s cogsets. Plus 9/10s freehub bodies are
available to convert that wheel to 9/10s.

Not without modifying the sprockets.

Is there anything else but 8 speed campy that I can use?
