Default Incident on Southern Cross Drive [SYD} This Morning

G'day all,

It is with regret that i have to post this but earlier today at about
6.45am, 3 riders were injured in an incident on Southern Cross Drive
(sydney) this morning. Circumstances are unclear on what happened. When our
bunch went past, their were long skid marks and a car at the back of the
bunch and one at the front. I am unsure if there was any damage to cars. 3
riders were down, one flat out on the deck (maybe out cold) the other two
resting against the rail clutching shoulders and grimacing in pain.

The riders were being tended to by their bunch friends whilst waiting for
the ambulance.

The jerseys etc that the riders had on did not have any club logos etc, so
we could not identify them. If anybody has any idea of who they are could
they pass on details so we can send (from Randwick Botany Cycling Club) best
wishes and speedy recovery.

By the way there seemed to many more riders on the road this morning, most
probably realised that it is only one week to Sydney to 'Gong. Many seemed
inexperienced. Take it easy out their guys and girls.

Regards

Beanxy
