What a shame - such talent, snuffed out by a moment of inattention. Surely there's a better way to design these junctions? How about compulsory education and a test of competence for all cyclists who use public roads. -- ennemm |

A brilliant young scientist lost, and some poor tipper driver sitting at home now in shock and grief. This is devastating for the families, I can't believe there isn't a better way. Why not just make it an offence to undertake a lorry while riding a bicycle? or perhaps absolute no-no to undertake the nearest vehicle to a stop line. and enforce the law. |

The junction didn't kill anyone, you simpleton. The lorry driver wasn't arrested, so it wasn't the lorry either. -- Dave - Cyclists VORC Bicycles are for Children. Off course it is. I stop either in front of, between or behind others. never along-side of. And I follow him/her around the corner. And assume s/he will turn even if s/he is not signalling. |
