Default Norfolk Mardle a.k.a. OOOH, my aching thighs

From: "Chris Smith"

Any local 200 would be fine.

A few of us are riding a DIY 200 in a couple of weeks, just in Norfolk;
perhaps that's a little soon - not sure what your plans are.

Is that Arabella's ride at Easter? Sadly I'm away that weekend up in the
Lakes.

The AUK rides further South have a few more lumps, but anything with
2000m of climbing won't seem to fierce; so these would qualify:

15 Mar "Up the Uts" 200, Henham (about 1800m climbing from previous
experience)
30 Mar "Start of Summertime Specials" 200, Stevenage (a few lumps,
nothing too fierce)
5 May "High Easter, Chelmsford" 200, Chelmsford (1800m)

I have a previously approved DIY 200 that goes:

Swaffham, Downham Market, Hunstanton, Sheringham, Wymondham, Swaffham

which is very flat (apart from a few undulations along the Cromer
Ridge). You're welcome to the route if you want.

I'd appreciate that route, Chris. I could do it as a non-adax day ride at my
pace to become familiar with the route, and then do it audax-stylee after
that.

Cheers, helen s

If you are doing a 200 perm, I'd advise riding it with company first
time out. That's why a calendar event might be better for a first 200.

HTH

Chris
