The town of Niel is host to its yearly cyclo-cross race, always during
the town fair on November 11th. UCI graded C2, but a top field with all
the usual suspects.

dumbass,

thanks for providing these vids.

it's amazing that they even show the jrs. on TV.

the skills and the technicality of the course are mind blowing.

Nice victory salute, wasn't it? The winner was Ricardo van der Velde,
son of Johan van der Velde, the rider first on top of the Gavia but too
frozen to descend right away. He, and several others, rode down in a van
and jumped out in the last blind corner before the finish. Hampsten got
the pink jersey and won the Giro but Breukink won the stage.

yeah.

it's easy to see why the BE/NE 'cross racers are at such a high level.
I haven't seen a lot of American 'cross races, but the courses I've
seen are not that crazy.
